Social Responsibility & Carbon Reduction

From the start, PRO Nursing Healthcare have sought to be the change that we have wanted to see in the industry.

From inception, our company values of being Committed, Compassionate and Customer Led have set us on a socially responsible path from the very start.

Here are just a few ways in which we continue to work to support the communities local to our offices and beyond:

• Raising funds and awareness for our chosen ‘charity of the year’ each year.
• Our team members are given 2 days per year to volunteer for a local charity of their choice.
• Supporting the local community with internal employment opportunities within Healthcare      Recruitment.
• Supplying excellent training and placement opportunities for Healthcare Professionals locally.

Central to our ethos here at PRO Nursing Healthcare is the need to conserve our planet for future generations, and we recognise the part that we must play here.

Here are some of the steps we are taking to reduce our carbon footprint as a company:

• Providing secure storage for 25 bicycles at each of our offices.
• Offering a rewards scheme for internal staff that gives them access to discounts at Halford and other bicycle shops.
• Rolling out a paper-free policy across our offices.
• Recycling waste, upcycling furniture and rehoming no longer needed items where possible.
• Growing our own fruit and vegetables to be eaten by our team.
